You say you installed an AF1 intake the other day...

Does it sound anything like this K&N kit...

That's definitely the sound I want to get out of an intake.

 

deapee, to be honest I haven't tried a full out 0-60 run yet, plus I've added a Borla cat-back before I put the intake on, so I get a lot more exhuast sound.. I've got a 4.6 under the hood, that clip sounds like the 5.4.. I CAN tell you that when I'm going from say 55, well, lol.. it jumps to 90-95 REALLY fast now, I have to watch myself, no more lag in the throttle response at all, and there's a definite growl from under the hood that wasn't there before..
I'm very pleased with it so far, but then again I'm far from having the experience with mods that these other members have, I have to say that their opinions and looking at what Troyer has to say about intakes influenced my decision..
Next up, a tuner.. tho I've spent about $1200 in the past month on what I've done so far, need to replenish some funds before that!

Also, I don't turn the stereo on anymore other than to catch a score or something.. windows down diggin' the sounds
