Roush Side Exit Exhaust Kit (offroad)

Can anyone that has one of these systems give me some feedback on the performance/sound aspect. Best place to purchase. I have a 2006 screw and am ready to put some mods in it. Do you see better performance if you use parts from the same company, ie Roush or does it really not matter? Sorry if I sound like a newb, but I want to get my truck right the first time.

Thanks,

M

in my sig are some sound clips of the dual rear exit one- I absolutely love mine- its perfect imo... side exit will be sliiiightly louder, but this should give you a decent starting point-keeping in mind they are taken with a crappy digital camera mic.

well for the linking the performance gains... Borla mfr's the roush exhausts, and air raid mfr's the simple roush cold air intake...

as for purchase- Mike Roth at woodhouse auto is who you want to talk to- 402-533-1979 great guy- willing to get you what you want.

Balog UK thanks so much for the info. I must say that your truck is looking great. Love the audio setup and how you have your fog lights hooked up. Well I'm going to go with Roush even though they are a little more expensive. As soon as I have some time I will post some starting pics and then show the mods.

Great sound clips UK. Thats some of the better ones I've heard. Too loud for me for everyday use, but it sounds fantastic!

I don't think you can get a side exit OR exhaust for a SCrew. Am I wrong?

Also, the tips on the Roush Exhaust look awesome.

4" outside diameter rolled, angled, with "ROUSH" across the top.

i thought i responded, but maybe i hit cancel- oh well- here it is again: um Mike would know the question to that one- I don't see why it wouldn't work in your situation- especially because you are going side exit (requiring MUCH less piping etc...) so cab and bed length shouldn't matter- price wise, you should be less than $500 all said and done

x 2 on the Roush sounding awesome. I had a Magnaflow SI/SO before I got the Roush and like the Roush much more. It has a much deeper tone.

Since no one has shown otherwise, I'm fairly certain that the only OR exhaust for a SCrew is SI/DO out the back. The side exit is for reg and SCab, I believe. May have something to do with the rear doors -- would the exhaust be blowing against your knee if you were getting in the rear doors? I'm not sure.

I am going to call Mike and ask. I think I am convinced that the Roush is the one for me.
