How to replace old cats with high flows?

So I'm replacing my 4 catalytic converters with 2 Magnaflow high flows from Troyer. The guy doing the work is wondering about placement. I assumed that the high flows would replace the two rear cats, and simply delete the pre-cats. Is this correct? I hope so, it happens tomorrow.

i plan on doing the exact same, so when it happens could you tell me how you went about it and what you did with the O2 sensors and if it is throwing codes. also what the difference in sound is, it should sound pretty good. and like Raatikainen22, if you can post pics.

Someday I'll figure out the picture thing.

I paid somebody to do the work. It was pretty straight forward. On my truck, the O2 sensors are a couple inches forward of the front cats and a couple inches after the rear cats, so they essentially weren't touched.

The work was done yesterday and 100 miles ago, and no codes so far.

Yep, more sound. The funny thing is, I just put a bigger muffler on trying to quiet this thing down. Since adding a blower, cams, and high flow cats, it's quite a bit louder than it was before. But it's a quality sound. I just hope I can stand it when I'm towing.
