K&N Filter

hey hows it goin everyone i gotta question i have a k&n cold air intake on my 2000 f 150 and was wandering if any one has used the bag that raps goes over the air filter to keep help keep moisture out? it seems to me that by using the bag you would be restricting the air flow but i don't know for sure if anyone knows anything more about it the information would be appriciated thanks

I used to tavel a lot of dusty roads and i had put one on and it seemed to catch a lot of dust from going into the k&n. Didn't notice any differance perf. wise. I don't know if they would catch moisture or not but it makes sense.

You're talking about a prefilter. Acording to all the info I've seen, they do help filter a lot more crap out of the air while showing little to no increase in restriction. I would recommend one because they do block a lot of dust and help prevent water from geting through the filter.
