Want to see pics of your Exhaust System!

Im about to run a new exhaust system on my 2005 FX4 truck and would like to see how others here ran the exhaust under the truck. Also pics of were your pipes exit the truck, sides of the truck or rear of the truck and what kind of tips you used if any. I seen a truck were both came out right in front of the rear tires just on one side an liked it. However cant find the picture again now and still up in the air. Im thinking they will be to loud right in front of rear tire.

Thanks!!

I have a few pics of my borla installed in my gallery. And some sound clips you can go to on putfile which is linked in my sig. If your looking for some other pics let me know and i can take a few more. Oh the pics are under the misc section. Good luck in choosing an exhaust.

05F1FIDDY4x4 does your exhaust sound very loud dumped right in front of your rear tire? Also I heard you will get exhaust dust being right in front of the rear wheel? Is that true? I just bought some new rims/polished 325/60/18 tires and would hate to cover them with exhust dust.
Thanks!

Its noticable but its not to loud. I have not had any problems with the dust from the exhaust. The only problem I would see with the dust if you were to have it installed closer to the tire.

I got my install in my Exhaust Gallery

You know, I bought the dual out-back buy I may try to get a local shop to make a couple bolt on turn downs to clean up the back and take off the tips.

Would it hurt to just take off the tips? Anyone? Or would I get too much soot eventually?

I have the ford motorsport made by borla and is all stainless but wish it was a little louder on heavy acceleration. Sounds great at an idle and nice and deep at lower R.P.M's. Check out link in my sig picture. Also a link for more pics.

Thanks woody49705 your is the one I remember seeing now coming out the side in front of the tire.

I think im going to go with magnaflow SIDO but trying to get part# on both the 18" and 24". I know the 18" will be louder, I want something that sounds good at idle and taking off but quiet at speeds 55+.

Thanks!
Again

Just an FYI.....Our Mufflers are made of 432 Stainless Steel not 304. 304 is kitchen grade stainless steel.

There's a link to my install. Lightning side exit. Pretty loud when W/O but not bad otherwise. Will drone some on long uphills.
