not bad... You have a huge weight advantage on me too. Plus you have a lot smaller and lighter tires, and your not lifted. gas is 3.50 here. How does the track cause you to loose almost a second?

it's a small private track they only "prep" the surface for the outlaw 10.5 cars but those guys have traction issues constantly but non the less it's a fun track for weekends with a street driven vehicle. a lot of fast N furious wanna be's go up there and it's easy pickins on test N tune night nothing better than watching a big ol' truck woop up on a fart canned civic with no hood

the D heads are suppose to be some kinda special from ford. bigger valves and larger intake ports.

Is there a special part # on the heads so you can tell if you have the "D" heads ?

I just don't see why ford would put a special set of heads on a regular truck Whatever the case it seems to be running good!!

i read somewhere on SHM site about the D series heads that ford put on the non PI windsor motors. that had larger intake ported and larger intake valves good for about 20-25 more fwhp. it could just be a rumor. but might be true since my little 4.6 has always run like a bat outa hell. for it coming with 215crank hp from factory and im puttin down around 250-255rwhp... thats quite impressive for not touching the long block at all. hell even neal port matched his heads on his first motor.

Yeah , I was thinking I might have them - Doing the math , I can't have more than 300 FWHP in my NPI 5.4L . All I really have for mods is the maggy cat back and an intake w/polished TB and elbow . Yet my 19lb injectors can't seem to keep up with my air comming in and boggs. It still goes pretty good , it's got much more wanting to cut loose , feels like

Instead it just boooggggggs ....

Frickin thing.

Well, I 'm removing my rear cats right now - mann are those things wasted - I might gut the fronts while I'm at it. Hope I don't throw any codes..

when I had only a tune, intake and exhaust, i had 186 at the wheels, so i doubt you have 300 at the flywheel

Yeah , that's what I'm thinking - My injectors should be putting out enough fuel , but then again I might need a tune as well.

Okay , I removed my rear cats and left the fronts alone and hehehe mannn she sounds bad a$$ now and it's not bogging nearly as much - I love the sound

I got about 5 miles and the check engine light came on - Dangit! I'll prolly need to do what you did Joey and eliminate all the stock cats and put a magnaflow high flow on each side.
