Alright, Im thinking about just running straights on my 98 4x4 with the 4.6 L V8. I have the Flowmaster 40 with dual outlets running to the bumper. But i want something more aggressive. Has anyone heard a 4.6 with straights? Please tell me before i go and spend too much on something.

 

I've got a 4.6 with a flowmaster 40 and it sounded good for awhile, but like you I wanted more. I opted for a manual cutout before my muffler and now it sounds awesome. Its louder, deeper and much more aggresive. Best part is it's only like 28 bucks from summit and around 30 to get it welded in. Hope this helps.

 

straight pipes are alright i had it on mine kinda was annoying
