Help!! Cant get stock exhaust off!

Ive lubricated and loosened and kicked and pulled...the darn thing just isnt coming off. To make matters worse, i thought i would elevate my truck a little higher by reversing on some 4X6 and i end up hitting the wall!!!!!!! so now my rear tail light is smashed and my stock exhaust wont get off!! ive searched for some detailed instructions for removing the stock exhaust and i cant find anything. any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW, im installing si/so borla exhaust on my 2005 f150 supercab fx4.

I cut mine off with a reciprocating saw (sawzall) in a few places.

I'm here 4 U dude!

Dude I've heard Volant makes a much better performing exhaust for that truck . look them up..
Tip: I heard there's a notch on the top of the pipe that U have to grind down to get that loose!

I'm glad I did mine at 3000 miles. It was a breeze. If you haven't loosened all your hangers, do that. It will be much easier to wiggle the huge stock system around once you take the bolts out of those hangers.

x2 on the sawzall it is your friend man. a good blade and you will cut through it like butter. and its just a good tool to keep around. i never thought i would use it to much around the house just at work. man i was wrong.

x4 on the sawzall.. that's how I got my stock off to install my Borla SI/SO.

Cut that sumbitch right off, the Borla bolts right on.

Yours is probably hanging up where the straight pipe after the cats connects to the muffler section. It has a pin and notch arrangement. The pipe needs to turn about 90deg. for you to disengage. You can't see it either because it's on the top. I threaded my exhaust out intact so if I ever needed it for some reason.... It's now hanging in the rafters in my garage like some weird hunting trophy.....

Don't forget, there's a retaining tab, you'll have to twist and pull.
