AF1 with the Edge?

I have a 2005 FX4 2005 with SI/DO Magaflow exhaust system if it helps with 325/65/18s. Ive decided to buy a CAI system. I was thinking of the AF1 from Troyer. However Im still open for other suggestions/brands. Im also running a EDGE Programmer so If I get the AF1 will it work ok with it? Pros and Cons of differant ones? Will I get any code errors running any CAIs?
Newbie to the CAI stuff so will take any advise!

Thanks!

Would be a good idea to call Troyer and discuss with them. It is my recollection that you need to stay with the 3" if you are running the Edge, the 3 1/2 " causes a lean condition.

Some guys with the Edge have gone with the S & B, I think it was. Might try a search and see what you get.

I run my edge on Lvl 2 all the time and I just put on a 3.25" AF1. It runs and sounds great and I haven't had any issues yet.

troyer and others say you may be running lean and never know it. They advise against the 3 1/2 with the Edge, only use it with a custom tuned Xcal2, according to them.

I'm running a 3 1/4" not a 3 1/2".

OK heres the deal, I called Troyer and the lady was really nice. You can now only buy 3". UNLESS you have the Troyer Turner and you can recommand the 3.5. They NO longer sell the 3.25 because of the lean code issue. rsbeachbum when I explained to her I heard of a guy running a 3.25 with the edge she was surprised your not having issues or thats the way she sounded. So Im glad your not having issues. At $306.00 thats a little more then I wanted to spend. Also note they are now OUT of the 3" but should get more in the middle of next week. Not sure If ill bite just yet.

I've had for almost a month now and I've driven stop and go to interstae speeds, old lady driving to racecar style driving and I haven't had codes pop up. I got it from a guy on the forums here in the classifieds for $200 shipped so I think I got a deal. Good luck in chosing your intake. I just can't wait to try it on level 3
