who has long tube headers? can anyone throw their 2 cents in please?

who has long tube headers? can anyone throw their 2 cents in please?

i just got my pacesetter long tube headers... what EXACTLLY do i need to do to fit these... what about the cats?.. do i need an x-pipe?... im a lil new on how this setup works.. can someone let me kno what i need to make this work... thank you very much ps- i have a 98 F150 Extended cab 4.6 V8

I have dynatech long tubes, its all straight forward, but you will need to cut your exhaust as far back as necessary. I cut mine completely off and had mandrel bent pipe put in, 2 high flow cats, an x pipe, and mufflers dumped.

How does it sound with the x pipe? Make it sound like a completely different engine?

Where did you get your pace setter long tubes? i have a 98 as well with a 4.6 and id like a set of those as well.

its mounted on that piece under the dash, turns on with a switch.
