How can i get some sound?

Hi all, i'm new to this forum but have so much fun with my F-150 and making it better that i thought this i'd be the place to find out more.

Currently my '03 Sc has a cat-back flowmaster force 2 system with a super 80 muffler, it sounds nice but not really loud like other fords i've heard, i just put much bigger tips on it today which created a more echo sound but i was just wondering....how do i make it loud??? new muffler? high flow cat's? the problem is i cant really afford the cats right now, any muffler suggestions such as a Super 40???

the 80 is your problem. Get a magnaflow muffler, the smallest one you can find for 2.5" pipe. High flow cats would be a good improvement also...

Get the 14 inch magnaflow muffler length. Also you can cut your rear CATS out and leave the stock front converters for now until you can save for high flows.

Thanks

Thanks guys, just looking back i meant to say 50 series muffler i believe not a super 80, i've spent way to much time in the sun today and putting those new tips on. Does anyone know anything about Ravin' mufflers by the way????? My buddy had one in his Chev. but i never heard of one in a F-150 let alone heard or seen much of them?

I had a Ravin Z33 (the smallest one) on for a while. Had an ok tone not very loud and no drone at all. Just recently switched to the Cherry Bomb extreme 3"SI/SO and love it. That thing is so deep and aggressive I wonder why I didn't do it sooner...forgot to mention it is insanely loud as well.

If you want it loud, put on a different muffler or no muffler at all.

Flow 40, Dynomax Bullet, glasspack, ect. Something known for being loud...

i had installed 2 si/so v-force mufflers with each running into tips out the back but the reason i installed these not so popular mufflers is my buddy had them haging around his garage and i got them for free.

Well i was wandering if i threw some cherry bomb glasspacks would i see a decent improvement in sound. what other mufflers are extremly loud.(such as the loudest on the market)

if the 50 series is too quiet for you, then pretty much any magnaflow wont be loud enough for you either. maybe consider a 40 series or the new super44, they are both considerably louder then the 50 series. i have the super44 and it is LOUD and sounds great. Its not annoying on the highway either.
