Yeah i understand, i knew it would only be a mile or two at most...how about horsepower...im just a warranty freakshow i dont wanna mess it up..i want to get an edge tuner for fuel economy but that would void my entire motor warranty..my truck is too new for that stuff...thought this might be a good way to gain a little power and a little horses...how is flowmaster???

Personally when i put my flowmaster on i did not feel the loss of power that people say flowmaster gives. On the other hand i did not feel any gain in power either the only thing that i noticed was the sound. My kit originally came with a 50 series suv and that was quiet but louder then stock but not loud enough for me. So i switched it out to a super 40 series. that made it louder still not too loud but little louder then then the 50 ended up really liking that. Then i had to cut my pipes off after i damaged one offroading or loading up the bed and now it is super 40 dumped under the bed and it is loud right now alittle bit too lound in the cab but after i added tips it went down alittle while cruising. All in all of those set ups didnt feel a diff in power out of those two mufflers. As far as my warranty knowledge goes the ford dealers i have asked said that usually a cat back for does not mind it is when you start messing before the cat. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask. i am happy to help.

I think most people need to know these truck just will not be loud with a cat back exhaust. I dont know about 4.6 but im sure most 5.4 come with 4 cats. That is four little mufflers that are making these trucks so quite. Remove or cut them off and you will get the noise. I dont understand why they did this to the regular 150 but the lightnings had only 2.
