So why does every one like the Magies so much? I had a 3" pipe" run from the y pipe back to a 3" inlet dual 2.5" outlet 40 series Flow. Took the two outlet pipes and had them both dump BEHIND the axel on the passenger side. Awesome sound when I romp on it but no annoying drone on the highway. I wouldnt run anything different.

 

MagnaFlow dual 4" rolled SS tips out the back with the 14" muffler. Much louder than the 18". You definitley know that there is a V8 under the hood. Looks, and sounds, great. Only negative... slight drone under load.

Borla SIDO stainless catbacks on 05, Magnaflow SIDO stainless catbacks on 06. The Borla's were too quiet for my liking, plus the left tail crossed in front of diff cover.

I have the ROUSH Off-Road single 3" in (goes from 2.25ish to 3") Dual out. The Off-Road version has a Muffler the size of a Phone book, and growls very very nicely. I would imagine the legal system has a larger muffler to decrease the emitted sound. No emissions are changed between the two, just the Db.

Install was so easy, it's rediculous. Hardest part was, was, was.... Maybe washing my hands afterwards
Took all of 1 hour start to finish. Tips looks great. Makes other F-150 owners here jealous of the sound.
