Another exhaust question

I'm getting ready to put an exhaust system on my new truck and was getting ready to go get the 18" sido magnaflow. I was calling around to check one last place when I learned about the bolt on kits from magnaflow that are all stainless and are mandrel bent, so my question is....

(1) How much better is the all stainless mandrel bent setup vs the sido system at the shop? Magnaflow kit is twice as much as the other method... Which is just changing the factory muffler and adding the rear exaust pipe???

(2) I'm assuming that the oem exhaust is NOT mandrel bent, is this correct?

(3) Is the difference in back pressure by using the kit a good or bad thing?

The truck is an 07 fx4 screw with 6.5 bed

thanks to all of you for sharing the knowledge!!!

Ok, ill answer as best as i can
I have just bought a 07 Scab 6.5 bed about 2 weeks ago
i put on a magnaflow SI/DO exhaust (#16614, i think is same as yours, but double check-summit carries for like $518 or something)
Simple install, takes time to get everything lined up so have patience, but went on very easily and fit nice, looks awsome and sounds just as good
It is stainless steel and lifetime guarantee, and yes is mandrel bent
the muffler is almost straight through and has very little resistance, so yes changes your back pressure but for the better
as far as a shop goes i can not comment, never had one done at shop but many people on here go to shops(try a search and you will see alot of it)
highley recommended product
hope this answers all the questions
