Make my own dumps, what to buy?

I want to install a new muffler with a turndown, anybody done this on their own? I'd like to do it myself (I realize welding is better, but it'll only be two joints) to save a few bucks and get that nice "I did it myself" feeling

I plan to buy a Magnaflow 14" oval offset/center 2.5" muffler, a 12" long 2.5" turndown pipe, and a few clamps and hangers. I think I can just cut the stock pipe before the stock muffler and slip the maggie on, correct? Anybody see any problems with this approach?

Thanks,
Greg

to connect the muffler to the mid pipe your best using a band clamp :yep:
