I've heard so many thoughts on both of them. Some think it's the way it sounds that makes it sound louder. So, I think you'll have to hear onew and decide for yourself. Again, just mostly what I've read, Magnaflows are more toned, sound sweeter, but not as loud. If you're looking for noise FM's are whatcha want.

i have the super44, thats my truck. i love it, and whoever said magnaflow sounds sweeter, maybe below 2000 RPMs because its deeper, but in the upper RPM range, nothing sounds better then a flowmaster. maggies are quiet too.

the 40 series is a raspier sound where as the 44 is more toned. both are pretty loud.

it sure does. That isn't my truck though thats just a guy on youtube, his truck has a K&N cold air intake and an Edge programmer. He is running the stock cats and upgraded the midway 2.5" pipe to a 3" pipe.

si/do is short term for single in/dual out meaning just 1 inlet and two outlets on the muffler, to give it that dual exhaust look.

si/do means single in, dual out, this means one pipe goes into the muffler and two come out.

justsome guy on youtube?!? ahem....lol

i actaully got rid of the edge and have troyer tunes on the way, and i am going to replace my stock manifolds with some JBA headers, and i might cut the rear 2 cats.

i dont have any driveby videos yet but ill will try to get you some when i get a chance.

i sure hope so. i am really bummed that California is so uptight about emmissions. If stuff were actually legal, i would cut all the cats and put 2 high-flows, and instead of JBAs i would get pacesetter long tube headers. it would be so loud and the performance with custom tunes would be awesome. but long tubes and high flows are illegal
