will this actually add power

this supposly adds power to your engine with a flip of a switch its a electric supercharger, that attaches to your air filter and is supposed to push more air in the engine which should result in power power what do you think of this will it work or no heres the link

im gonna go out on a limb and say NO! but i haven't ever seen one quite like that. others will chime in.

seriously me and a buddy in high school put a leaf blower to his camaro with a rotary switch and it worked. at least for a while then we turned it all the way up and it blew the screen on the maf into the intake. this was on a late 80's v6 camaro.

ya but unlike regular superchargers which increase their output as your engine revs higher, this one only pushes a constant flow of air, so once your engine starts to pull more air than the electric supercharger can push it will hurt you performance.

i actually saw something like this installed on a mercedes and it threw a check engine light for mass air codes.. thought it was funny then and still think its funny

Go buy a bilge blower fan at a marine store, thats all it is. Pushes like 200CFM if that.....

hell im gonna sell a kick in the @$$ in a box and claims that it adds an xtra 80 ponies to the engine, maybe ill make a quick mill.
