should be my last question about my muffler.

ok this should be one of the last questions about my exhaust setup... i want to switch out my flowmaster muffler, once again since i didnt do it before... i want the rumble and would like it somewhat louder than the 50 series delta flow.. i came down to these two mufflers, either flowmasters supper 44 3" inlet 2.5" dual outlet.. 4" x 9.75" x 13" Case or magnaflows 6" x 12" Oval 3'' inlet, 2.5'' dual outlet 22'' case.. i am looking for the performance mostly then loudness.. but i would like it louder which im sure both of these beat the 50 series by a mile... thanks for your help guys.. TIM

if you want performance get magnaflow, not flowmaster.

if you want to even hear your magnaflow then get the 14" length. the rest of them are pretty quiet. the flowmaster super44 is pretty loud.

i usually recommend dynomax. if i were you, i would go with their bullet mufflers.

well since my exhaust system is set up with a 24'' (overall length) muffler what exactly will i be missing or loosing if i go with a 24'' magnaflow.. is it quieter... i wouldnt mind going bigger bc all i would have to do is cut tubing but going smaller would just be a pain.. thanks

Okay the flowmaster will be louder than the maggie usually regardless of casing length.
I would go with a 14 inch casing length in the magnaflow. The shorter the casing the louder it will be. You do not want a shorter one than that if you already have a flowmaster.
When you put the shorter muffler in all you have to do is add a length of pipe to make up the dif.....not a big deal!!!

yeah dont get the 24" Magnaflow, the 14" will be jsut fine, Magnaflow is pretty quiet unless you dual it or upgrade cats & headers.
