i chopped my exhaust today. i have a 40 series sigle in duall out that had side exit. anyway i just chopped em off about 3inches after the muffler and boy wat a difference in tone! if any one wants there truck to be a little louder but sound more ballzy i really sugjest doin this. i had no exhaust smell with or with out the slider window open. mostly louder inside but changed the tone out side. like i said much deeper and not as much crackle and pop when you rev it up to show off for the ladies quick free mod to make your truck louder.

 

i did the exact same thing to mine. it sounds so much better

 

Show off for the ladies? Ha! Around here the only ladies you get doin that is some north end trash!

 

yeah dumping or cutting the tip off will make it sound a bit more aggressive
