Just Installed AF1 - Great Perf, Bad Whistle
Just got my new 3" AF1 installed today, and I absolutely love it, with one exception. There is a bad whistle only at idle which is super annoying. You can hardly stand next to the truck when it is idling. I plan on calling about it tomorrow, but maybe someone has a quick fix? I tried to adjust the filter on the tube, as was suggested on an earlier post, but no help. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

THANKS GUYS!!!!!!
I went and double checked everything again, and it ended up being the plastic fitting that screws into the tube for the breather hose. Tightened her up, and no more whistle. I really appreciate it! Now if I can only keep my foot out of it, I just might be alright. I can't wait for the tunes to get here now!
Thanks again!

Good to hear that you got it fixed!!
When I put my AF1 on for the first couple weeks I was getting a vibration type of noise that was freakin' aggravating!!.. LOL.. Everything seemed tight, and then I checked the heat-shield mounts.. I hadn't seated them completely through... a touch of grease, popped 'em through.. no more vibration.. lol
