I'm going to build a custom stainless steel dual exhaust with a H-Pipe and Corsa mufflers.

Dont wont to pay dealer pricing for something I'm going to cut up for parts.

A few reasons:

First, I dont want the crush style bends associated with a standard pipe bender.

Second I dont want to splice together pre-bent mandrel elbows to make the over axle pipes.

Lastly, the Harley system has two pipes exiting the muffler, crossing the axle and terminating with two tips. Using these "tailpipes" will make for a easier job of building a dual pipe, dual muffler system that uses stock position hangers.

I know it would be much easier to visit my friend at his muffler shop and have aluminzed tubing bent up to my specs. That being said, I build custom exhaust products for the new GTO's and as such I would like to build my own system for my new truck.

Now, If I had access to a CNC mandrel bender this would be easy........

Thanks for the opportunity to clarify!

Might be a tough find -- most of the guys I know who have the HD trucks are not the type to turn wrenches and change a bunch of things on their rides. That's why they buy the HD's in the first place -- it's kind of a pre-made hot rod that all they have to do is get in and turn the key.

Agreed. I'm hoping to find the one gearhead that bought one and doesn't think its loud enough.
