Go with Pacesetter or Dynatech longtubes. OBX is Chinese **** with fitment issues due to quality control. Obviously, this could be corrected by any muffler shop, but do keep in mind OBX is merely an imitation of Dynatech longtubes. Shorties will be nothing but a waste of time and money to install, and make little more than noise! No hp gains! Don't take it from me, cuz built54 runs dynatech longtubes on his truck, after switching from shorties. Go to http://www.rpmoutlet.com and look here. They are classified as for the lightning/harley, but will work for any 97-03 2v 5.4L f150.

no problem torkum, i was tempted to by them too... you can actually do a search and read about what everyone else has to say about them. pacesetter and dynatech are the way to go. jbrew is running pacesetter longtubes, and built 54 dynatech longtubes, both of whom really know these trucks well... pacesetter or dynatech, you can't go wrong either way.

awesome! please be sure to let us know how it turns out, with maybe some video/sound clips before and after install... btw, what exhaust setup will you be running? i'm running a 2.5'' DIDO true dual w/ 14'' DIDO maggie muffler, w/ an x pipe and two high flow cats, along w/ the dynatech longtubes.

I have the OBX longtubes on my truck. The went on without any problems! Everything lined right up. The only downside was they did not come with any hardware or collector gaskets, but I got stage 8 locking header bolts and some Edelbrock 2.5" gaskets from Summit and I was good to go.
The key is to either re-use your stock M.L.S. manifold gaskets or get new ones from ford. Dont use any cheap aftermarket ones or they WILL leak! I know from experience.
