Weird pat-pat-pattery sound from my duals

Weird pat-pat-pattery sound from my duals

I noticed something weird yesterday when I got home from work. I got out of my truck and the exhaust was making this weird pattery sound. It's pretty loud and noticeable. It almost sounds like a roulette wheel.

It seems to only do it after I've been driving and it gets warm. Then I turn it off and back on and its gone..

Any ideas before I take it back and have him fix it?

My guess would be its the new metal expanding and contracting from the heat. My exhaust did that for a while until it got "broke in", now it doesn't do it hardly at all unless it was driven really hard and its colder than 40 out.

That's kinda what I was thinking. It is really cold here right now. (50s... I know, I'm a wimp.)

LOL...50's! It hasnt gottin above freezing here in MN for quite sometime...it sucked putting the exhaust on today in this weather!

I wish it'd make up its mind. One day its 80, the next day its 50 and wet... Come on Texas!

Hmmmm..... I wish it was fifty here it was -1 when I woke up this morning.
