Roush Intake

Can anyone confirm for me that the Roush intake will NOT lean out the a/f ratio? Will I be fine using it without a tune?

Can't confirm it, but everything I have read is that it will not lean it out. Also Airaid makes the intake for Roush.

No lean or drone issues with mine.

Yeah, I heard they made the Roush intake, but for me I just want to keep it all the same. Roush billet fuel door, coming soon Roush billet grille, and the intake. The exhaust is different, but only cause it's a custom job, not a kit. I actually was looking at prices, most places sell the Airaid for $290 or so...I found the Roush intake for $265 through woodhouse.

I bought mine from Woodhouse b/c of the price, couldn't find a better price anywhere for Roush or Airaid intakes. I haven't had any problems with running too lean, not sure how much exactly, but the CEL hasn't come on. I do have a slight drone around 1700-1750 rpm for some reason. Doesn't really bother me much because the engine runs a bit higher than that at highway speeds. Other than that, it's pretty good.

Well I have the roush intake along with the roush off-road exhaust and i get more than just a slight drone at around those rpms. Just research it out a little bit more unlike I dd & you'll find more people with drone noise than people who don't. Even if the kit is chaepaer than others I have found the hard way cheaper is not always better.
