my shorties dont have studs there bolts. But when i frist took off my manifold the nut was frozen to the stud and the stud came out with the nut on it so i didnt need a stud puller or anything came out all at once. didnt spray them with anything just started loosening them at my truck had 110,000 miles on it when i did that. you should be fine , just have a stud puller handy just incase your nuts arent frozen to the studs. If you want ill head out there the weekend your going to do it and help you out as much as i can what kind of truck do you have?

did you have to do anything like raise the motor a tad. or could you get to everything from the fender well?

my current mods are in my sig. and no i didnt have to raise my motor or anything just took the tires off and the fender wells off. pretty simple. ill help you out your only like 5 miles from me. i think the pacesetter should add close to the same as builts. the only diff. is that his are SS and mine are just steel.. should i high temp paint my headers and cut-outs? Atmospheric conditions??? whats that mean? yeah i wish i could install and go to the dyno same day. it'll only be a few weeks diff. of just running LT's without the dyno....my truck is going to be soo loud...if i have a video cam with me ill video tape the dyno and dyno tunning and all that stuff. Thanks for all the nice comments about this thread. ill be sure to keep you guys up dated im ordering my dynomax bullets 2 morro. oh BTW im selling my old exhuast set up once i get LT's on. the set up is. pacesetter shortys *down pipe no cats* dyno max super turbos. PM me if you want that set up. thanks again guys.
