Get a cheap turbo muffler or a dynamax muffler from advance.

They sound good, but are really loud, basically a straight pipe with a small expansion chamber.

I just had a 14inch magnaflow installed on my 98 ext cab flare side. i have the 5.4 triton. it has a nice low deep tone. By far the best setup for a daily driver barks when you need it to. just cant sneak home late at night anymore without waking up the parents let alone sneak out. sounds great on start up

if you want quite i have 2 Dynomax super turbos i just took off 2.5 inlet outlet *offset* they were alot quiter then no mufflers. i gotta take them to a muffler shop to get the inlet outlet cleaned up because theres some nasty welds on them from the guy that had them before me... PM me if you want them.

Magnaflow:

I really like the sound of magnaflow mufflers. I've had flowmasters also, but overall like the MF better. I have a 05' F150 with 5.4 engine. Just recently had a MF 12198 SI/DO muffler installed with 3" tailpipes out behind the rear wheels. Nice, deep tone, really nice. It might be a little loud for some, but not for me. Does have some in cab drone, but not bad at all.

If you don't want as loud, but the nice sound, go with the MF 12588 or any of the 22 inch chamber length mufflers. You will love it.
