OBX Long Tubes Pictures (not installed)

For anyone that cares, here are the OBX Long Tubes, Lightning and Harley version. I know 01Roush has posted pictures before but I figured I'd make a thread just for them so everyone had a better chance at seeing.

Looks great... I believe I saw it on ebay for around $500 which is not bad.

Will these fit on my 99 4.6? According to shifty the 5.4 headers fit the 4.6 as well.

Let us know how your installation goes.

$495 + $32 shipping. Plus whatever cats you want to run in place of the resonators.
Lightning/Harley Version
Non-Lightning/Harley Version

They will fit the 4.6 with an EGR modification. The EGR is larger on the 5.4. You would need to find/make an adapter. Other than that they should fit no problems.

So those are not cats, just resonators?

I think thats a decent price... Good quality and you get all the mandrel piping.

Yeah they're Magnaflow 94306's but I wouldn't really recomend them for this setup only because of how big they are. Something with a shorter case would have been nicer. The picture of the cat next to the resonator shows that there isn't any room for a band clamp. If you're going to weld it then it's fine though. The 94306's are the catalytic converters recomended by Troyer for the 1997-2003 model years. I'm still waiting on a few parts from Troyer that I just ordered the other day before I can do the install. I ordered the Magnaflow 15681 catback system, the 10778 Magnaflow Y-Pipe to meet the catback, locking header bolts and O2 extensions. And actually about 10 minutes ago I got some more goodies in the mail. I got my Troyer Dual Electric Fans, Underdrive pulleys and my Xcal3.

So you plan on a SISO right? I like this package because I can hook it up to my existing SISO which a maggie 22" will be replacing my gibson.

Sounds like you have some nice plans... efans, pullies, xcal III.

Let us how know how everything goes..

good thread man

They look like they have good quality flanges, piping and welds. Can't ask for much more. You are going to have some fun with all those installs. Good luck

Yes, 3" SISO Magnaflow. I have no idea what muffler the 15681 kit comes with though. I'll shoot Magnaflow an email and find out. It's not really important but I'm just curious. I just put the order in on Wednesday for the catback, locking header bolts, o2 extensions and y-pipe and unfortunately they didn't have any of the header bolts in stock so I am going to be waiting on those before I can do anything. The E-fans and pulleys will be going on probably this coming Friday. With it being winter our hours are cut to no more than 40 a week so I put in four ten hour days and take a 3 day weekend so that leaves me Friday to do the work. And when it the bolts get here that gives me Thursday night, all day friday and most of Saturday before I need my truck again and in the meantime I will drive a work truck to and from home. I can't wait.

EDIT - Nevermind, I just found on another website where it says it's a 5x11x22 inch muffler. So I guess I'll find out how loud that muffler is jbrew.

Thats cool you have a second vehicle. My sister is giving me her 98 ZX2 in a couple weeks so thats when i'll be able to actually have my truck in the garage. I your truck 4wd? Judging by your valance no but those 33s look pretty good underneath her, and you have tow hooks. J/W
