magnaflow... crew cab, 6.5' bed?

Does maganaflow make a kit for these trucks or not? all their kits are for the short bed?

The inlet pipe on my 16616 kit for my 5.5' Screw had to be trimmed about 12" - so I'm sure that's how they make the kits work for both bed lengths.

We must have been thinking alike this week, I just stopped in at a truck accessory place, to find that out.
The Employee calls his distriubtor and was told that you can just order the same kit as the 5.5ft box. But I questioned this, as I know that the magnaflow site doesnt list anything, so he looks it up on the magnaflow site and ends up calling magnaflow direct while im standing there and the response was no they dont have a kit for a CC with 6.5 ft box, so he had asked if anything was going to be coming out and the response was....I dont know.

So im still looking..

I called as well and their tech told me it should work. I ordered the 16612 and will be installing it Saturday. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ya let us know..
Hows it go ask the same question to 4 different people and get 5 different answers....or something like that.

On a side note, which kit is that? When I was asking I was looking for the SI/DO the rear.

Why not just go custom? It's not that expensive. Granted mine was free aside from the parts but it didn't take that long. Can't imagine a shop charging much. Also, what's to stop you from taking the 5.5" kit to a shop and having them weld in an extension or 2? can't be much for 4 welds to add 2 extensions.

BTW I have a cut at the Y going to true duals to a DIDO Magnaflow exiting in front of the passenger rear wheel. Took us maybe 3 hours to do. Sounds bad A$$

I installed the 16612 kit on my Supercrew 6.5' bed a few months ago and it fit perfectly.

The SI/SO Magnaflow will fit on the Screw with 6.5' bed.

If you want a SI/DO Rear Exit system then you need to go with the Roush exhaust for the Screw with the 6.5' bed. The Magnaflow SI/DO will not fit on the Screw with the 6.5" bed.

Not to mention, you are getting a complete T-304 Stainless exhaust system with the Roush, not just the T-304 tips like the Magnaflow uses.

Pics of my Roush:

Well over the course of maybe 6 months I had sent Magnaflow a email maybe 3 or 4 times trying to get a answer to this question and I never get a response.
Yesterday AM I sent a email to MBRP with the question of whether or not their kits will fit on the CrewCab with the longbox. 5 Minutes later ive got a response, now that alone is reason enough to go with the MBRP exhaust.
The only problem is I dont know what it sounds like, whether there is drone in the cab, and the cost.

Ive have checked into a shop just doing the work and custom bending the pipe which is cheaper but I cant seem to find anyone around here that will do mandrel bent pipe, which from what I understand is the way to go.

yup, the 16612 fit like a glove. had a little trouble getting the factory exhaust off, they have a little nub and a notch so you have to twist the exhaust and then pull straight back.. pain in the ***.

well no drone and no crackling... sounds great. not too loud, but has a nice low rumble to it... im pleased with this system.
