Header hitting drive shaft!!!

Just dropped my longtube pacesetter headers in while bolted on my engin (just did a lightning engine swap) and the headers are rubbing against my front driveshaft!! anyone with an idea on how to fix this? Has anyone else had this problem?

That really shouldn't be an issue. Is the motor in the right way? Is the motor centered correctly? For my OBX headers, I had to trim some of the head shield but I still had plenty of room between the driveshaft and header.

you got the wrong headers. sorry man. with long tubes you have to make sure they are 4wd compatible. im dealing with the same issue right now. you can find new ones online for $280 US.

Regardless of two or four wheel drive, they shouldn't hit the driveshaft. The motor is the same so the headers will come down in the same spot I would think. The OBX headers I have, 01Roush also has and hi truck is 2wd. Maybe the pacesetters are different.

well the truck is almost done! Im hoping to finish the engine swap today but i also need to try loosening the motor mounts and see if i can move it to get the header in the right place. If i cant get it to work would a muffler shop beable to do anything?
