This is what I said yesterday about the two hoses! The code descrip. is that the hose is either off or plugged. Get two new hoses, most ford dealers will just give them to you.

Oh ok, I got a little confused reading all of that yetserday. I appreciate the help. I'll replace those hoses to get rid of the 1405 code. Now I got to get the P0133 and P1131 codes figured out.

Well the thing about O2 sensors is that when you replace them its best to do this in pairs, so if B1S1 and B1S2 are bad, then it is best to replace all four.

Yeah, I figure I would go ahead and replace all 4 since my truck has 198,600 and they've never been replaced.

I need to post a vid and pics. Right now it's the loudest F-150 I've ever heard. If I keep it below 2500 rpms it's not as loud but if you punch it at any speed it screams. My problems could be making it a little louder than it should be so I'll wait until everythings running right before i post a vid.

I saw my mechanic again and he put the computer on my truck to test the O2s. He even drove it with the computer hooked up and of course the truck didn't cut up any so he didn't accomplish what he wanted but he did check the MAF sensor, cleaned it and then determined it was bad. So I oredered a new one and it'll be in tomorrow. He said this should fix the codes thrown P0133 and P1131. I also replaced the DPFE hoses. Can anyone think of anything else I should do to resolve my problems?

I appreciate it Andy-jr. Seeing and hearing your truck help me decide to get the high flows. I assumed I would have no problems and now it's like a whirlwind with all of the different hoses and sensors to check. I'm just ready to get it running right again. Do you have true duals? Please tell me your setup and did you have any problems at all out of your mod?

I don't have true duals, yet. I replaced the 4 cats with the two high fows, I still have the stock "Y" pipe and that runs to a SI/DO Magnaflow muffler then split out the back. And I'm sorry to say that I did not have any problems with the install or running. keep us posted

Yeah a bad MAF. He took the air intake box apart at the filter and tapped on the metal part of the MAF and the truck's idle would go up and down and almost die. So he cleaned it and it kept doing it. So he told me it was bad. This guy is really good at his game and is doing all of this for free. Man I hope this get's her running right. This morning it only ran bad one time so maybe the DPFE hoses I replaced helped. One of the hoses tore apart as I was taking it off...they were in bad shape. Thanks for the info guys. If you have any other suggestions or info please keep em coming.

Ok, another $70.00 bucks and i put a new MAF sensor on. Took it for a drive and still runs like sh#$ at times. I have to let off the gas and then mash it again to even go. This has really got me confused. I'm going back to my mechanic tomorrow to let him put the machine on it again. I guess the O2s will be my last resort. Oh something else from the past...I broke a bolt that holds a coil on my block. I couldn't get the bolt out so I just left it and put the boot down on the plug. This has been over a year ago, but do you think this could cause a problem? maybe the one I'm experiencing now?

Are you supposed to even touch the MAF wires?

Maybe post some video of the engine running?

I didn't touch the MAF wires. I replaced the whole MAF sensor. I thought this would fix it but no luck.
