I was saying that magnaflow has CARB legal high flows, but no they don't make LT's. I meant any set that has EGR and O2 hookups should be leagl. I personally think high flows are not neeeded on a mostly stock truck. If you have a power adder or have a built engine I could see the gain in having them, but a "stock" truck, nah. I'll be doing LT's when I do the head swap, and most have seen about 30hp/40tq from just the LT's.

if you run long tube headers into high flow cats and true duals your truck is going to be very loud. if you cant have a loud truck because of where you live you may want to think twice about doing this. but if you are doing all this then disregard my first post because you will notice the power.

As long as you have mufflers it won't be super loud, if you run maggie 14" it will be pretty loud, but a 18"or 22" will not be that loud, good luck and be sure to post some vids when your done.

Dont know if its been stated already but true duals sounds better. Little louder, and deeper toned idle, and it can echo & be heard much further away. My Silverado has true duals & I doubt I will have a si/do ever again

ok so ive been lookin around, and i can't really decide between the 16" borla's, or the 18" magnaflow's
anyone have either of these? if so how loud do they get and do they drone?
better yet does anyone have vids of them?
edit: for future reference.... how big is the stock exhaust? 2.25" or somthing like that right? i wanna keep this as cheap as possible, and am thinking about 2.25" piping opposed to 2.5". thanks guys!
