ive been told by mant its either like 2 horsepower or there is no power diff at all...i was told by every single shop here locally in my town(liek 5 shops i asked) they all said that there is no difference true dual will be a little louder......my friend has the exact same truck as mine we both have the same company exhaust except mine is si/do and his is true dual and his is just barley louder than mine.

no exhaust system alone will add or take away enough hp for you to actually notice on your truck. just get one that sounds good. you need to do cai, tuner, and exhaust to really make a difference. if you just want it to be loud just take off the muffler and dump it.

Go true duals and add a crossover(h or x pipe) they have been proven to gain at *LEAST* 5 hp, just from the crossover, go true duals it sounds better and performs better.

X2. Don't know about the gains, but definately true duals with a crossover.

the X-pipe will run you about 100, 2 Magnaflow mufflers 100ea, then pipe and tips if you want them + labor

rough estimates of course

cost me right at 650 to cut the stock Magnaflow cat-back off and install the X-pipe 2 Spintech Pro Streets and tips in front of passenger tire...

My setup was $160, and i'm about to order a maggie x and 2 14" mufflers for $180, so the setup after the tips will run me around $300, i'm going to cut 2 of the 4 cats off and not worry about the high flows.

you can buy the mufflers, X-pipe, high flow cats, and tips; take it to your local muffler shop and get them to weld it all up for you... and you can add some LT headers why your at it... I'm living in Ca at the moment so high flows and LTs are off limits for me

I'm fully aware his has 2 cats, I was using my setup as a price example, the maggie 14" I just bought were $52 a peice and the X was $75. But magnaflow has CARB legal high flows, and as long as the LT's have the EGR nipple and O2 bungs they should have a CARB EO as well.
