Need more torque

Hey need some help. The only mods I have done to my 2001 5.4 is put on a k-n snorkel kit. I tow a enclosed trailer, so im looking for the best (cost per ftlb) of more torque. If I do exhaust I want it to hopefully be more on the quiet side. I think Gibson side swept has just a single that is quiet from what the website said. Programmer? Better MA sensor? Spacer?

Ideas?

Thanks

A good exhaust, a custom setup with a magnaflow muffler would be good, and a tuner with custom tunes will help with the towing. I have a Edge and custom tune from Bill, SCT is good as well with tunes from Troyer or VMP. A MAF and a spacer will not help you in your case, the factory MAF will support everything you have. The best torque gains will come from a set of long tubes, most are seeing a 20-30 hp gain and almost 40 tq gain.

The tuner will do more than all the other mods added together.

2x4 or 4x4?? Do you know the gear ratio?? A set of gears would be your best bet.

Its a 4x4, and im not sure the gear ratio. Im not sure if I want to run that higher rpm on the hwy if I dont have the trailer hooked up. At 75 mph with overdrive off w/ trailer Im pushing 2,900 rpm..

Sounds like 3.55s, look into the pacesetter quick trip longtubes, they will really help with the towing.
