Magnaflow or Dynomax??

im going to put on two maggie high flows (2.25) and run true duals.
i do want an x pipe so my questions are...
which would perform better? which would sound better?

.a magnaflow tru-x x pipe into two dynomax bullets

or

.a DI/DO magnaflow muffler with the x built in

thanks guys

Depends on the exit location, if you run a setup like mine(vids below) run the x and the bullets, but if out the back, I would say get a the muffler setup. There is a member here with high flows and a maggie 14" out the back, and it sounds to much like straight pipes for me, the choppy sound, not smooth and good tone IMO. I would suggest getting the maggie x either way, and a seperate muffler, I think it will sound better and perform better.

I wouldn't do the 2.25" cats on a V8, if your going to run 2.25" true duals well just know that smaller the pipe the more it will pop on decel and revs, 2.5" would be more adiquate. Dynomax will be louder & sound a bit meaner. Magnaflow will be calmer and clearer.
