Im running true duals straights with an x-pipe out 3.5" tips lightning style. Its pretty loud, you can hear my truck when I turn onto the highway about 1/2-3/4 of a mile from my house. Check my sig for clips.

I have a '03 2WD 4.6 I'm trying to think of a way to run a symmetrical true dual system on my truck which is difficult with the fuel tank taking up half my under-bed space. has anyone tried running a system outside the frame rails with a h-pipe right after the cats?

Unless you have side steps or a body kit, you can see the pipes from beside the vehicle and they look trashy IMO.

True duals (none of that crossover stuff), with glasspacks, angled at 45 degress out back with 24x3.5 inch chrome tips. Its sounding better and better everyday. Im thinking about hacking the system off after the glasspacks and dumping it under the cab

I'm running a 2.25" true dual magnaflow setup w/ magnaflow cats, xpipe, and 14" mufflers. It sounds fantastic. Hardly any crackling or popping, just a nice loud deep rumble.
