You asked about out the back, here is one with the magnapacks but 2.25" out the back, it makes me glad I didn't do mine like it, I'm not a fan of it at all.http://youtube.com/watch?v=MmCO55Ituy0&feature=related

No, its the longer run of pipes that give it that sound, It sounds straight piped, trashy IMO, thats why I have stayed with the side exit, it sounds so good even straight piped. Unfortunately its the longer pipes that give it that sound, because I love the look of it at 45's under the bumper, but it sounds like s^it

Here's a new vid, just a accel on to the highway with the windows down and a short cruise with the windows up to show how loud and quiet it is.

I too thought the same thing, but when I got my exhaust done (y-ed dualed and tipped) my exhaust man told me to come out and listen to the difference with no tips and then with tips on.

It was pretty unbelivable how much the tone changed with a 4 inch tips 24" long. I love my sound!
Thanks for the info. The problem is just that there seem to be so many varying opinions. I have heard the tips make sound, and do nothing for sound. I have tips, did not want an unfinished look. Maybe I heard the sound difference between a 3.5, and a 4 inch tip, is negligible? Thanks for the post. At least there has been someone who has heard the difference between tips, and no tips.

Oh I have heard it, I had my truck done at 45's when I had the flowbastard, and had to wait for the tips, the truck was so quiet out the back with just the 2.5" pipe. They make a big difference, even the 3.5" to 4" change was very noticeable.
