Intake And Exhaust Questions.

I have a 05 F150 5.4L 2wd And i want to put a intake in it. And a exhaust.
My question is which intake would be best for my truck? I don't really want to have to do any tuning unless the place i get the intake from does it for me hahah.

I am also thinking about getting a Roush off road exhaust to replace my stock. but my question is will the tips in the link below work with the roush and will i notice a performance difference . I am really only doing it for the black look. http://rollingbigpower.com/products/...hp?cPath=54_55

Thanks for all the help.

roush exhaust tips

Hey, Im sure the exhaust tips you like will fit without a problem. Maybe a litle adjustment here or there. But the Roush tips are the sweetest in my opinion. If you want to sell them Id be interested.

tips

I take that back, Those tips say 4'' to 5''. I believe the Roush tailpipes are 2.25 or 2.5 " so they wouldnt work.

You have many choices on intakes, and all will work fine on your truck without tuning (except for the 3.5ID AF1). When it comes down to intakes, you need to figure out which one you like best from doing your own research. Many people swear by the S&B, alot love their AF1's.

You can see the intakes I carry here,

If you want an intake, you should get custom tuning as well. Every intake is going to lean out the motor, whether it be a minimal amount or a dangerously large amount.

If you absolutely do not want your truck tuned, go with the Airraid or 3" AF1, as those are the 2 intakes that will not lean out your engine to a dangerous level.
