Its on! S&B

well got my S&B on today and what can i say..... this thing rocks! Special thanks to Alon at Mod Bargains . They were super easy to order from and Alon provides awesome customer service. You can tell that S&B is proud of their work from the way they package their product, instructions and workmanship. At normal driving conditions you can't even tell its on. There is no loud or anoying drone. Once you get on the gas this thing comes to life and sounds sweet. I already had a magnaflow exhaust put on prior to the intake and the combination of the two works great! I especially saw a change in Throttle response and over all power. I'll keep you guys posted as to any MPG change if i can keep my foot out of it.

after installing the S&B intake in my truck two weeks ago, it was then decided that the engine bay needed to be cleaned since it looks like crap now compared to the nice clean black intake tube, lol.

yah i was impressed right away at how the intake helped my truck run good again. the stock intake combined with my exhaust just wasn't working out... once the S&B was installed, shifting was improved, as was the overall smoothness of the drive.

i don't know if it's neccessary or not, but once i got everything hooked up... i started my truck up and let it sit for a few minutes while i put my tools away... then i took it for a nice, easy drive for about 2 miles, making sure not to "get on it." i figured it would help the truck learn the new intake... then again, it might not have mattered at all, lol. after that first drive, i drove it like normal and it's been a great improvement since.
