I just have a question about the straight pipes i put on my 07 f150! Are they hurting anything or will they be fine to leave on there?

They aren't hurting anything, I love mine I don't think it hurt my performance since I can now scratch second.

Thats true, so I changed my post. I couldn't scratch them stock but I could after I did superchips tuner and my imco. Then I went to si do flow 40 and still could, then I went to true duals maggies and still could and I still can with my straights. Now I have tuner exhaust and fans, but I am running 3.55 rear and 265/75/17 10ply tires that weight like 40lbs.

well most torque gains/losses will be in the low rpm, so the increased firmness and LP would not be affected by the top end. But, how did the efans help out? I'm looking for a little mpg gain, and to work on the drag launchs, and lessen the "bog" in 2nd.

I was actually really surprised at the fans, the truck rev's much freer. I feel like I gained some power, its hard to tell how much without a dyno. I had a slight bog but mine was from 2-3 and it lessened it, plus my ac runs crazy cold now, and my truck gets up to temp in no time. Definitely something that I would recommend and will go on any new truck I get.

jusnesmodified.com it was a pretty easy install it just took longer than expected to get all the wires hidden. When you get ready to do it go ahead and get some wire loom and do it all at once, I still have some uncovered that I have been saying I am going to cover now for about 3 months and never have.

I have been looking at their kit, but I'm not a fan of rods through the core, so I'll have to make brackets, but how long have you had the kit and how are the controllers holding up, any problems?

The kit they sent me first was a new kit and I was the first to get it, it didn't fit but it had brackets. They replaced it and paid the shipping with the older kit that uses the rods, I didn't like them at first but they are holding up nice and haven't bent any veins in the radiator yet. I have had them on since last October, the controllers have been fine, I did get two bad relays. The relays went out 2 days after install, I replaced them $4 each and haven't had a problem with them since.

Cool, I like troyers kit, but I don't get any response when I question them about what they have done to correct all the controller failures, it has pushed me away, but thanks for the info.

I almost went with troyers kit, but I liked Bob from jusnesmodified he seemed like a stand up guy, and at the time I had no dealings with troyer so I bought from Bob and he took care of me, and I would buy from him again. I have no problem with Troyer, in fact when I get an xcal3 I will be getting custom tunes from troyer. Any other questions just ask.
BTW I hope you know I don't mean anything by the exhaust stuff, Its just in my experience I haven't noticed any difference.

I don't take anything from it, I have had and done many diff. exhausts, and I usually see a change with the use of mufflers, no worries. But unless you are SCT "determined", look into Bill's Gryphon, it comes with 3 custom tunes and he is great, plus the wait is shorter, but it's your money and choice.
