Cutouts, before and after!

So a couple weeks ago I ordered some cutouts from JEGS.com(great service by the way, fast shipping, ordered Saturday night, at my house Tuesday morning) and had them installed a few days ago.

Hope you like it, I'll get some launch clips and drive by's as soon as I can. It is much more noticeable when driving.

Before

After

It's all good, I like being able to run mine all the time without having to worry about tickets and stuff. As for car alarms, I was settin those off with just my Magnaflow so I'm not too worried.

Damn man that cutout sounds mean, how close is it to the cat? Does it unbolt? Is it electric? Or is it cable operated?

It unbolts, it is probably about a foot from the cats and thanks for the compliment.

Does anyone have any idea as to the reliability of the cable operated cutouts?

For whatever reason up until today I never thought of using them. I've gone through 3 mufflers already and am now back to stock (for the sake of the gal and new neighborhood).

Also, is it possible to run pipe off the cutout? Meaning, I'd like to run it out the side, almost lightning-ish? Thanks

Hey Boxerguy1989, Are your tips the Magnaflow 2.5" inlet 4" outlet 18" long ones? I was getting ready to buy them then I went out and measured and discovered that my tow pkg wont let me mount them back there, but I could mount then a few inches before the tow pkg sides, but I was afraid that it would be too far off to the front and not the bumper, but yours look great! Any more pictures of them and how they are positioned?

Im pretty sure you could run pipe off of the cut-outs it would just have to be a 3 Bolt flange type pipe you would have to take the covers off slide the pipe on and bolt it down. i thought of doing this my self as well.. it should work.
