No problem man. If you didn't notice I put a Magnaflow Performance Exhaust decal on my left rear window. Since my system is an attenion getter I would like to represent the Magnaflow name

Cant wait for work so I can drive it again

So Darren did you get that special delivery?

yeah thats the O2s, but you can still do it. check out the last couple pages of the other thread about pre-cats vs. high flows or somethin like that. I was wondering the same thing and joshmac helped me out a lot with some pictures and a link. Pretty much, you can cut them out, replace it with exhaust pipe, and wire in an MIL eliminator which will keep you from throwing a CEL since it makes the computer think that cats are still there.

Yep 4wdF150. As Cotedog says, Joshmac will be good for information about the 2003- trucks. 2004 - 2005 4 cat systems the cats are all free, no O2s in any of them, and the rears are not monitored, which made it real easy for me to do this, except pulling the right side exhaust back to fit that 1/2" flange back was a real PITA, but other than that, my peanut brain figured a way to get it done and my friend to help labor we got it. So F the local shops that wouldn't touch my cats

how hard is it to do the mil's? im not afraid of doing anything myself, as long as ive done my research. i saw that you could either make your own or buy them whole from "various sources". anyone know where to get them. i also have a 2002 as opposed to the 2003+, if that makes a difference.

You can make them with parts from radioshack for less than $10, here is a website that has the diagram and part numbers, just click on the bottom left picture, the link that says make your own. You don't need the circuit boards, just the resistor and capacitor. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...ale/index.php#

I haven't seen this question asked yet. Are you going to pass emissions tests with the rears removed?

I dont have emissions. My inspector is cool with some stuff, all I really need is to have all lights functioning properly, nothing broke or making a bad noise, anything thats really unsafe. He dont care about my tints or exhausts on my vehicles he knows i'm legit.

Thats cool. I used to have someone like that in N.Y., but now that I'm in N.C., I don't think its possible. Of course money does talk, even in the south. I still wonder though, if it would pass with those removed.

Well theres still cats under it, no engine light, and it doesn't give a cat-less odor, but, in the book, its still tampering with OEM specifications. But you allowed to run hi-flow cats and custom cat backs, so why is it wrong to remove the sound resonating converters while the fronts still do the job right? Thats how I see it, and my explaination if I am ever cornered to explain.
