They seem to make more power. Nice truck BTW. Are those hella or harley lights?

hey Fireman1291 i have a 97 5.4 and was lookin into gettin headers i would really perfer longtubes. do u think he may get into the 97-03 market? but if he would do longtubes for my year i wouldnt mind puttin the word out on his headers. just let me know what he thinks. just a thought

I don't know what his plans are, however i know he has shorties for your truck waiting to be installed...............

i might consider it maybe we could talk em into makin long tubes after the fact. i live in sebring so that would be the only hold back. but i think i'll still will do it. looks like his craftsmanship is really good and they shouldnt rust which is a plus.

yea im gonna talk to him and see what he says about makin some long tubes, and if it happens i'll let u guys know how they are and give updates on how they hold up. i was lookin at pacesetter for 300.if he did make em i'll promote em a lot for him. we will see

another vote on 4.6l long tubes! definitely want them just cant find them cuz apparently they dont exist.

Mainly because they use a ball and socket collector just like all the others, which is a choke point for flow. The Edelbrock shorty is the only one I've seen that seems to have a decent collector.

Update:

I am noticing better gas mileage and smoother acceleration through the entire RPM band.

3 days of on and off driving-

is the notice of mpg's a lot or a lil i mean it doesnt matter because we drive trucks lol. they turned a nice color too

The other F-150 I need to do test fitting on can be an 97 to 03 5.4.

about how long would it take because im in sebring and the way gas prices are, just wonderin if it could be done in like one trip or 2

The gas mileage was noticeable so Im assuming at least a 1-2mpg gain.

And we did mine in 9hrs with no prior experience on a F150 header install and we took breaks and shot the ****, so Im sure youd be done in 1 trip.
