New truck, what exhaust should I get??

Well I have gone back and forth and I dont know what kind of exhaust I should get.

I just bought a 2008 f150 4x4 STX and Need your opinions.

So far I have had flowmaster and IMCO exhaust on my last trucks but I want to try something new.

I am leaning toward a large 4 1/2" single out the passenger side..

you can always try 14" magnaflow. i love my duals.

as far as the tip goes, a tip that big i think would only look good on a lifted truck, i think a 4 would look better

Roush Off-Road with before tire exit.

If your not willing to put $570 towards the cat-back and possible, Get an 11" body Magnaflow ( SI/SO or convert to duals and get a DI/DO ). If not, then I would get a Super 44, real good sounding muffler. If you insist on something different, well as I said, Magnaflow, or look into Borla.

It's the same as a Borla muffler so try and find the same dimensions on Borla's site and walla.

Nope, unless you get lucky and find one on ebay for a couple hundred. Roush does not sell anything individually exept the tips.

I doubt you will find anything close to it, maybe similar but not close.

man that sucks. would you do the duals out the back or the double out the side if you had to go with the roush exhaust?

I was originally going to buy the Roush rear exit kit, and have a shop bend the tailpipes to exit the way mine do now with the Magnaflow tips. The Roush Off-Road cat-back is available only as dual rear exit straight out, or before tire passenger.

Nice ride bro! Looks like mine only... better.

I like the wheels too. Now I know they would look ok on mine.

I think even 4" is too big for tips. I've got 3.5" slant tips coming out the sides of my supercrew and I love it.

4" looks perfect on the new generation 4wd trucks.

I just got my Roush and installed it myself in about 2 hours. It was worth every penny but I got it for $470. shipped. The local shops wanted $775. for a si/do system.
I dont really like the straight rear exit but it look's good and sounds great.
