i want to put the slp lm1 shotgun resonators on my 4.6
i've tried looking up what i should get, and i believe weazel said to just get this
http://marylandspeed.com/slp-loudmou...066-p-293.html
do i need just one or two? and i just remove the stock muffler and put this in its place?
i also want to do lightning exit
also i was going to cut 2 of the 4 cats off and im not sure which ones need to go?
any help will be greatly appreciated.

cut off the pre cats and dont mess with the sensors or else youll throw codes and hurt your stuff....also expect a decrease in mpg if you take off cats....i think those things replace cats and if not, then you can use one or two....if you use two it would be a true dual i guess ....id do one and fab a dual tip.....dont wanna lose that back pressure....thats my 2 cents and dont quote me on any of that lmao

resonators dont replace cats, the only thing i dont like about SLP LM I's are they sound raspy as hell, you can cut the 2 pre cats (the small ones) and you wont throw a light, then do the SLP's (if thats what you really want) and run the tips how you want,

i personally dont give a rats about performance so i ran true dual 10 series flowmasters, if it were me i would go with a true dual set up, it will be loud as HELL!!!!

but what ever you want

i want raspy as i rather be different and not have the slowmasters or magnaflows like everyone else, i wish i could do a true slp setup, with intake, headers and cats, but i've heard their cats arent too great, so i'd replace them with magnaflow high flows.

but i think just cutting off the 2 cats and then replacing stock muffler with 1 resonator going to dual tips out into lightning exit would be pretty sick.

it's pretty raspy

what size pipe do you have? I'd run duals with an H pipe for a better sound
