Straights are as loud as you can go, however the dynomax bullets are fairly close. My straights are in my sig if you want to hear it. Keep in mind mine is an 05 so it only has 2 cats and will be louder than earlier models with 4.

I didn't read the whole thread, so maybe it was asked. Why do you want the loudest exhaust possible when you KNOW the cops are ballbusters?

They'll only stop you if your stupid with it. IE reving it in a public area, taking off hard in public situations, and disturbing the peace at night.

why don't you just add a supercharger or a turbo to your truck then you won't have to worry about how loud it is and just get on down the road

but I think this mod is the one you really need

I have never heard straight pipes or a single chamber that didn't pop real bad and sound like total crap (no offense) having a loud exhaust like that is kinda like hooking up with a fat girl. Remember its all about about quality not quantity!

Mine doesn't pop at all when its in gear, and once its warmed up it doesn't really pop if you rev it in park. You must have never heard a well done straight setup, with a crossover tube.

So I guess mine has 4 its a 98, I can't believe I don't know how many cats there are as many time as I've been under it lookin at this or that changing oil or tranny fluid, can you get 2 of them removed or is that too illegal, like some have said earlier putting 2 high flows and leaving the pre-cats???

haha yeah I was confused a while back because I have an 05 truck with 2 cats and some people were sayin "oh I have 4 cats on my 05 and I whas like whattttt?" but darren cleared things up he knows it all.
Removing any cats is illegal unless you replace them with high flows. but you can remove the rear cats and only run pre-cats i think and you wouldnt get a CEL, but that is illegal.

In Texas you can have any muffler you want. My neighbor is a cop and has a 68 nova with single chamber mufflers 800+ HP loud as hell you can hear him from a mile away easy. If you did find a muffler that's Loud let me know
