what do u guys think the most aggressive sounding cat-back is there? i have a 2000 5.4 looking into a good bit of them but cant decide...

 

Its not a cat-back, more custom, but put a SI/DO Super 44 on with 2.5" tailpipes and you'll like it.

go custom, its cheaper.

but straight pipes sound great!!!

 

why not exhaust cutouts??? i have one on my 03 5.4 did it after the cats but im planning on getting another so i can do two before cats..... check it out on youtube..

its honestly not that hard.... i have welded a few on before.. i dont know why you guys hate cutouts.... heh they work perfect for me plus, they are close-able on demand through a switch or a pulley in you car's cabin... whats not to like... loud noise, easy to use, easy to install, close-able if needed. but its just a suggestion.

 

Thats mostly the reason. Not all of us like annoying exhausts.
