Rear cat delete wont give a CEL, there are no 02 sensors after the last cat. Atleast thats how it was on my truck, and thats how it looks on his.

Thats only on 2004 & 2005 4 cat systems. If you look at his picture, the rear O2 is after the replacement pipe. The pre-cats do the job at burning the fuels though so you shouldn't get a CEL atleast for a long long time.

They are the 1 chanbers! The sound is GREAT! Nice mellow sound at idle, but sceams at WOT
I will try to get a viseo soon!

I am not sure about the shops up North, but here in Dixie most shops will work with you on this kind of set-up. They may charge you a few more bucks but you can always find a shop!

Up here its all about the law... Some shops wouldn't agree to touch my cats unless they've failed, and some said since it came with 4, it leaves with 4, and would not touch the pre-cats... Fortunately I realized how easy deleting the rear cats would be and me & my friend did it very successfully. F**k the shops.

Yeah,

(Darren) I saw the pics you put up when you did your set-up! Yall did a great job!
It is always nice when you can do mods yourself!

Do you have any trouble when inspection time rolls around?

As far as the shops go, I can understand where they are coming from
(I guess). I am sure after a few shops here and there get busted and have to pay a huge fine it spreads like wild fire.
But down here Capitalism always (usually) works!.......LOL

Anyway, I hope to have a video soon!

nope the factory cat and sensor set up is, 02, pre-cat, rear cat, 02 some people i know with the 97-04 (earlier part of 04) have cut the rear cats off have gotten a CEL later on, when i had my 4 stocks i cut the pre cats off and never had a CEL in about 6 months until i finally cut the other 2 off, then later replaced with hi flow converters

Nope, I got a connection and I just get a sticker written out and handed to me, or they'll just check the lights and stuff. Never anything serious. No emissions atleast.

Heck, here in MI you don't have to worry about any inspections of any kind. I could run true straights with no cats and not get a fine, unless a cop would happen to stick his head under the truck if it was too loud I guess.

Thats somewhat cool, however the coppers look around a little more in states and countyies like that especially when their quotas are low. And if a cop was to smell un-burnt gas in an exhaust the owner will instantly be pulled over. But some places are different than others, and some people are luckier than others. Like me for example I passed a township snow plow today with a Mack truck coming in the other lane and I just made it between the two at 90mph
