oh yea new K&N intake installed finally!

well i finally got a intake, 70 bucks on ebay it was already open and had no instructions, but not a problem to me since they arent to hard to install

havent noticed any power gains loss and im still on the same tank of gas i had when i installed it, but ive never noticed any gains or losses of anysort even with exhaust (till i cut my true dual flowmasters off)

i know its kinda dirty but we just got a rain and i had lots of fence to build and cows to feed

sorry for the big file but it keep failing to upload on this website

No heat sheild and the IAC and breather tubes are in a werid place. but for 70 bucks ya cant beat it. i like how you kept the IAC muffler thing on. i dont have mine on only whisles when its really really cold like 20* and colder and only at 2,100 RPM other than that i dont hear a thing.

Looks pretty good otherwise i got the 77 ....well a few brackets from it still since i modamafacted it i lovd my 77 when it was all togther all nice and shiny...made the rest of the engine look like crap no more shiny pipe thoe just on the end of the air filter now.

So you took out the factory intake that pulled cold clean air, and swapped in a filter that draws hot air from the engine bay and gets splashed by mud and water?...

Cool...

While driving @ 60 mph, Bernouli's principal states that all the hot air is sucked out from underneath the bottom of the truck as cool air rushes in from the front. Dunno about you, but I noticed a def. improvement when I installed mine.

Looks good on there. It appears you are playing in the mud a lot. You should look at getting a K&N filters Precharger filter wrap. It helps keep the big stuff off the filter in severe conditions. I use this on my Ranger and my Jeep and it keeps my filter from getting jammed up when I'm off roading.
