Flowmaster 50 HD

I was looking at the 50 series HD model from Flowmaster... how quiet is it? I noticed it was about in the middle of the board according to Flowmaster's website.

I don't want something that is too obnoxious like a 40 series, but I don't want it stock quiet for in the cab resonance.

Or should I go with a 70 series?

I know most people would like to run their truck as loud as possible... but I want subtle noise, but I don't want to be waking people up at night nor do I want to be giving myself headaches, as it is my daily driver.

I already have a truck with a 40 series on it, and it is freakishly loud! But I don't want it on my daily driver.

You know it's going to still sound like a V6 right?

Yeah, I don't care about that... I just want a *little* more noise than the stock muffler.

Well the 50 would be louder then stock and it would sound better.

I don't know what muffler he's running but it's awfully quiet, not loud enough or that different to really justify doing it.

Thanks... I think that's still too noisy. I just want a tad noiser than stock. Nothing crazy sounding... plus I want to keep some back pressure on it.

So I think a 70 series will do it for me.

The 50 Series SUV Delta would be good for you.

I had the 50 the drone at 70 was unbearable.....

It was not the loudness it was the reverberation it rattled the brain...

I switched to the 60? I think, not only did it fix it but sounded better.

It rusted out though in a year.... I have the magnaflow now. It sounds much better IMO.
