I'm with the thinking that something is not right. Fresh on the truck, the ROR could definitely be heard by me and the neighbors.

Have you turned the truck on?

Can we see pictures?

it is because you have a 04 F150. these came with 4 cats. the 05+f150 came with only 2 cats. thats why they are louder.

Mine is a 2004 and i love the ROR. I got my ROR used off a member, it had 8k miles on it already. Its plenty loud, even with 4 cats. It sets off car alarms every once in a while. Not as loud as my flowmaster super44 was though.

I'm in southern Cali, and also have the side exit off road ROUSH kit on my truck. My truck also has the 4 cats, but it's plenty loud for me. It is a whole lot better sounding than the previous Bassani kit that I had on my truck, which is now sitting in the garage packed in a box. My roush exhaust seemed to sound better when I first put it on, but I figure it's probably cause I got so used to it. I sure would love to get rid of 2 cats but I'm thinking that would probably be more trouble than it's worth, especially here in California. I only have a little over 1K miles on it, so there might still be some change in sound or tone with a few more thousand miles.
